Job Summary: Systems Engineer (Journeyman) for United States Space Force (USSF)/Space Systems Command (SSC)
IBM is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support the development of defensive cyber solutions for the USSF/SSC Cyber Operations Branch.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile project, collaborating with a team of experts to design and implement cutting-edge cyber solutions.

• 
  
• Manage and monitor installed hardware and software systems.
  
• Assist with network tap design and system survey to ensure data is properly sampled and transported.
  
• Evaluate existing systems and assist with technical refreshes.
  
• Lead and/or assist with hardware installation and software deployment at mission system sites.
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 3 years' related professional experience; Or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 2 years' related professional experience.
    
  • Experience in the following programming languages: Python, Linux CLI, bash scripting.
    
  • Certifications: Must have CCNA, Security+, CCNP, JNCIS-Sec, JNCDA or equivalent.
    
  • Clearance: DoD Secret clearance required.
