Job Title: Systems Engineer-Space Command and Control -(Active TS/SCI Clearance Required)Job Code: 17922Job Location: Colorado Springs, COJob Description: As a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a Systems Engineering team in Space Command and Control, with a preference for those who have worked within the Space Command and Control (C2) domain. This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together. - We have a long history of innovative and exceptional performance; we have earned our place as a trusted provider to our customers.In this position, you will bring your systems engineering background to a role where you can make a broad impact to programs and projects that are critical to our customers!Essential Functions:

• Participate in the development and integration of space vehicle operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Modeling and simulation in Astrodynamics
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and user manuals.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements in the Space C2 domain.
• Management of requirements.
• Ability to lead a technical scrum team.
• Travel as needed (a minimum of 10% travel expected).Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance. -Preferred Additional Skills:
• Experience in the Space C2 domain.
• Bachelor's Degree Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with astrodynamics concepts and orbital mechanics
• SDA domain experience preferred
• Apply MBSE techniques to support system design and development.
• Ability to test and troubleshoot systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities a must.
• Works under general supervision. Experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment through an entire build cycle.
• Self motivated learner/self starterIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $89,000- $165,000 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
