Company Overview: Our client is a State-run utility provider, seeking a General Laborer / Utility Worker.Position Summary: A successful candidate shall have 1 year of relevant experience in landscaping or construction, and be able to operate lawn equipment. Work Duration: Up to 3 months Responsibilities:

• Operating Agricultural tractor with a brush mower, walk-behind mower, and string trimmer around street posts and gates.
• Training is required for the Agricultural tractor, which will be done by the hiring authority.
• Complying with the safety and health program in support of an incident and injury-free workplace.
• May operate small tractors, trucks, and trailers to assist with construction, maintenance, and/or landscape projects.
• Using hand-operated and electric, pneumatic and hydraulic power tools to assist with construction, maintenance, and/or landscape projects.
• Assists in the construction, repair, maintenance and inspection of utility piping, cable, conduit systems, and appurtenances, utility Right of Ways, and Facilities. Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in maintenance and landscaping/construction position.
  • Able to operate lawn equipment
  • Able to go through a training with tractors
  • Must have a valid driver's license Necessary Attributes:
