Job Description:
IT Asset Manager
Full-time
Maximus is seeking an accomplished IT Asset Manager to provide
expertise in managing and optimizing assets for a federal client's
critical operations. As a key member of our team, the Asset Manager
will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient utilization and
maintenance of assets to support our client's mission.
Project Specific Responsibilities:
Lead the comprehensive management of assets throughout their
lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.
Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and
procedures to ensure optimal utilization and
cost-effectiveness.
Develop a process that will track all hardware/software licenses,
warranties, end of life reporting, shipping, and receiving of
equipment, etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess asset needs,
procure assets, and manage inventory levels.
Perform regular assessments of asset condition, performance, and
compliance with relevant regulations.
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of assets to prolong
their useful life and enhance performance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assets, including
tracking changes, movements, disposals, and reconciliation of
inventory records.--
Contribute to financial planning by providing insights into
asset-related costs, depreciation, and forecasting.
Generate detailed reports on asset utilization, bill of material,
certification service request, virtual machine tracking, and
financial impact for management review.
Project Minimum Requirements:
